Gram varieties undergo changes on seed, grain markets

KARACHI: Gram varieties underwent variations on seed and grain markets with sporadic variations elsewhere.

Gram garda better type rose by Rs. 60 to Rs. 2,060. Yellow peas rose by Rs. 25 to Rs. 1,300 and Rs. 1,325. Beetle I rose by Rs. 15 to Rs. 2,125 and better type rose by Rs. 35 to Rs. 2,175. Dal beetle rose by Rs. 50 to Rs. 2,400 and better type was up by same amount to Rs. 2,450. Gram dal Punjab was up by Rs. 100 both types to Rs. 2,250 and Rs. 2,300.

Bajra was quoted at Rs. 775 and Rs. 825.

Irri-9 Punjab new rose by Rs. 25 to Rs. 1,175.

Rapeseed Mirpur new was quoted after long time at Rs. 550 and Rs. 560 and cotton cakes rose by Rs. 5 to Rs. 360 and better type rose by Rs. 10 to Rs. 390.

Wheat was quoted after several session at Rs. 945 to Rs. 955.
