CE announces Rs 2m grant for St Patrick's School

KARACHI: Chief Executive Gen. Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday exhorted the students to fully concentrate towards the acquisition of knowledge.

He was addressing on the occasion of his visit to St. Patrick's School.

The chief executive asked the students to work hard to ensure a better future for themselves.

He said it was a pleasure for him to come here and revive nostalgic memories.

Gen. Musharraf said that he cherished the memories of his school, adding that it went to the credit of St. Patrick's High School to have produced eminent persons.

He prayed may the school flourish and prosper with the passage of time.

The chief executive announced a grant of Rs. 2 million for the school.

He advised the students to consider joining the Army where the merit was held supreme and it was the institution which provided the best profession, thrill and adventure.

On arrival at the school, Gen. Musharraf was presented bouquets by the students.

The students presented a tableau on this occasion.

The principal of the institution in his address of welcome thanked the chief executive for visiting the school.

Gen. Musharraf signed the visitor's book.

Sindh Governor Air Marshal, Mohammad Azim Daudpota (Retd) was also present on the occasion.ÑAPP
