Adulterated fertilizer's sale on rise
THATTA: Sale of imported and adulterated fertilizers by traders in various towns of the district has been increasing due to utter negligence of concerned authorities.
Cultivators from Mirpursakro have complained of being supplied low quality fertilizers and urea against considerably high margin of profit by local fertilizer dealers.
The cultivators said that despite constant demand on their part to be provided with country made fresh fertilizers, the shopkeepers and dealers under the plea of non availability of fresh fertilizer compel them to purchase the expensive as well as poor quality item.
These growers also reported hazardous effects upon the standing crops due to use of such fertilizers. The growers have demanded concerned authorities to take action against culprits. APP
