Banking finance 'Glossary' to be launched on 7th

LAHORE: The launching of 'Glossary-Banking and Finance'' will be held at the Lahore School of Economics on Friday, April 7.

The State Bank of Pakistan Governorlaunched the 'Glossary' at the annual general meeting of the Institute of Bankers Pakistan held on March 25 at Karachi.

The 'Glossary' has been jointly published the State Bank, The Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP), Lahore School of Economics and the Hamdard University, Karachi. The 900-page 'Glossary' is a unique publication, providing explanations and illustrations of about 2800 terms routinely used in modern banking and finance. The explanations are given both in English and Urdu languages.

Ashraf Janjua, Chief Economic Adviser of the State Bank of Pakistan, and M M Malik, Chief Executive of the IBP, will be the chief guests at the launching.
