Car snatched

FAISALABAD: Three armed persons snatched a brand new car from a local businessman, Amir-uz-Zaman on Sunday.

The armed persons riding in the car stopped him and snatched the car on gun-point. They also snatched cash and wrist watch from Amir-uz-Zaman and drove away.

In another incident, three armed persons looted bus passengers and truck drivers on Faisalabad-Chiniot road on Saturday night. The dacoits, after looting the passengers managed to escape, but on receiving information, the police raided various places on Sunday and reportedly arrested two of the dacoits after hectic efforts while their third accomplice is still at large.
