4 of a family shot dead

LARKANA: Six armed persons shot dead four persons including two women, a girl and a young man of a family in village Ibrahim Jakhrani of taluka Garhi Khairo, Jacobabad district in the jurisdiction of Mohammadpur police station in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to police reports, some six armed persons approached village Ibrahim Jakhrani and opened indiscriminate firing at the house of one Islam Jakhrani. As a result four house inmates including two women, a girl and a young man of the same family died on the spot. They belonged to Jakhrani clan.

The deceased were identified as Mst. Gul Pari (70), mother of Islam Jakhrani, Mst. Imamzadi w/o Islam Jakhrani house owner, girl Bibi Gul Moti (7) d/o Islam Jakhrani and Ghulam Hussain Jakhrani s/o Islam Jakhrani.

The assailants escaped from the scene, police said. APP
