Canadian envoy takes over as UN council president
UNITED NATIONS: Canadian UN Ambassador Robert Fowler takes over the presidency of the Security Council on Saturday for the month of April.
He succeeds Ambassador Anwarul Chowdhury of Bangladesh.
The post rotates monthly according to the English alphabetical order of the council's 15 member delegations.-Reuters
