Bail granted

KARACHI: Zafar, a worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) facing trial in double murder case of activists of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was on Saturday granted bail by Additional District and Sessions Judge West, Nuzhat Ara Alvi.

The accused was directed to submit a solvent surety of Rs 100,000. The incident occured in 1995 in the jurisdiction of Orangi Town Extension PS.

Zia Alam advocate appearing for the accused submitted that his client was a victim of identical name and was not the man/accused wanted by police in the double murder case.ÑAPP
