NOTIFICATION
(Income Tax)
S.R.O.586(I)/2002.- In
exercise of the powers conferred by section 240 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of
2001), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that for deduction or collection of tax
for the year beginning on the first day of July 2002, the said Ordinance shall have effect
as if,-
(1) In the First Schedule,-
(A) in Part III, Division III,-
(i) in clause (I), in sub-clause (a) for the figure “1” the figure
“1.5” was substituted; and
(ii) in clause (4), in sub-clause (c), in paragraph (ii) for the figure “6”
the figure “5” was substituted.
(B) in Part IV, in Division III, in clause (2),-
(i) in sub-clause (a) after the figure “25”, the words “per seat per
annum” were added;
(ii) in sub-clause (b) after the figure “60”, the words “per seat per
annum” were added; and
(iii) in sub-clause (c) after the figure “100”, the words “per seat
per annum” were added.
