Dear Sirs,
PRIMARY DEALER SELECTION FOR THE YEAR 2004-05
Applications are invited from interested financial institutions for appointment as Primary Dealer for Government Securities for the year 2004-05. For this purpose, EDMD Circular 8, dated July 5, 2003 regarding criteria and rules governing Primary Dealers, may be referred. The circular is accessible at http://www.sbp.org.pk/edmd/2003/EDMD8.htm. The applicants are requested to furnish the following information along with the application:
1. Latest Annual Report
2. Summary of Secondary Market Transactions in PIB/FIB as well as MTBs during the year 2003-04
Application from current primary dealers must reach Exchange and Debt Management Department, latest by May 20, 2004 and from non primary dealers latest by May 31, 2004.
