Dear Sirs,

Amendment in Special Us Dollar Bonds 1998.

Please refer to our SD Circular No. 10 dated 17^th December 1999 on the captioned subject.

The Federal Government has notified the following amendment in the Special US Dollar Bonds Rules 1998:

“In the aforesaid Rules, in Rule 8A, after the figure “8” the commas and words “except the provisions about exemption from levy of Zakat,” shall be inserted.”

Photocopy of Government’s Notification No. S.R.O.(1)/2001 dated 25^th July 2001, is enclosed.
