THE GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN
S.R.O. 82(I)/97.- In exercise of the powers conferred by
section 36 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), the Federal Government, being of opinion
that the public interest so requires, is pleased to exempt the drugs imported, with the
prior permission of the Federal Government, for export, excluding psychotropic and
narcotic drugs, from the provisions of sub-clause (vii) of clause (a) of sub-section (1)
of section 23 of the said Act, for a period of two years, provided that the export shall
be subject to the conditions laid down under the Import Trade Control Order announced by
the Ministry of Commerce from time to time.
