Islamabad, the 28th August, 1996
S.R.O. 727(I)/96.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976) and in supersession of all previous notifications on the subject, the Federal Government is pleased to appoint the following persons to be the Federal Inspectors of Drugs for the purposes of the said Act, for the areas mentioned against each namely:-

| 1. | Sheikh Ansar Ahmad (F.I.D., Karachi) (I), | District South and West of Karachi. |
| 2. | Mr. Ali Akbar Sial, (F.I.D., Karachi) (II), | District Central, Malir and East of Karachi. |
| 3. | Mr. Hyder Bux Bozdar, (F.I.D., Quetta/ Hyderabad). | Whole of Balochistan and Province of Sindh excluding Karachi Division. |
| 4. | Mr. Ahmad Jan, (F.I.D., Peshawar). | North West Frontier Province & FATA. |
| 5. | Mr. Khalid Aziz, (F.I.D., Faisalabad/Lahore). | Whole of the Province of Punjab excluding Rawalpindi Division. |
| 6. | Mr. Faqeer Mohammad Sheikh, A.D.G. (E&M)/F.I.D., Islamabad. | Islamabad Capital Territory Northern Areas and Rawalpindi Division. |
2. The Federal Inspectors of Drugs appointed as aforesaid shall
also exercise powers under clause (f) to clause (j) of sub-section (1) of section 18 of
the Drugs Act, 1976.
