No. F. 42(I)/79-AI.- In exercise of the powers conferred
by section 31 of the Drugs Act, 1976 (XXXI of 1976), and in supersession of this
Ministry’s Notification No. F. 42(I)/79-A, dated 27th May,
1979, the Federal Government is pleased to appoint Mr. Ahmad Ali U. Qureshi, Special Judge
(Customs and Taxation), Karachi, to be the Chairman of the Drug Court established by this
Ministry’s Notification No. 40(I)/76-AI, dated the 7th April,
1979, and to direct that the following amendment shall be made in the aforesaid
Notification, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, for paragraph 1 the following shall be substituted,
namely:-
"1. Mr. Ahmad Ali U. Qureshi, Special Judge (Customs and Taxation), Karachi, who
shall be the Chairman of the Drug Court;".
